Drum School 101 – Now Available!

DRUMMERSRULE! Drum School 101 – For Ages 10-100

These Drum Lessons are perfect for anyone ages 10 – 100 that are interested in learning to play the drums. In this 4 week Course you will begin to build the necessary coordination and skills to play the drum set. You will also learn how to read and play drum notation and play along to various songs.

These are GROUP CLASSES and last 60 minutes long. They are taught in our ELECTRIC DRUM STUDIO. The Studio has 4 top of the line Roland electric kits for students to use. This 101 Class is very unique, it enables the student to learn faster and retain more while having fun. The Group Classes are affordable, and a great way to see if you, or your child, has what it takes to become a drummer.

Meets EVERY Saturday for 4 weeks

Students must be registered prior to the start of the first class. New students will not be accepted once the first class has started.

Looking to further your drum line skills? Consider the Arizona Academy Drum Corps

For those of you looking to take your drumming skills to the next level, consider auditioning with the Arizona Academy Drum Corps. An Open House is coming up November 24th and the auditions are December 6-8. I highly recommend looking into this, as it will help your technique and will look great on your resume. I have helped many students prepare for this group and many have made the academy. In fact a couple of my students are in this video. I’m happy to answer any questions you may have.

Top Secret Drum Corps 2012

For those of you playing the snare, bass drum or color guard in drum line – this is for you! I think you’ll like the energy and precision of this drum corps and be sure not to miss them starting at 3:30… enjoy!

Top Secret Drum Corps is a precision drum corps based in Basel, Switzerland. With 25 drummers and colorguard members, the corps became famous for its demanding six-minute routine performed at the Edinburgh Tattoo in 2003. With its invitation to Edinburgh, Top Secret became one of the first non-military, non-British Commonwealth acts to perform on the Esplanade at Edinburgh Castle.
Since its success in 2003, Top Secret was invited to return to Edinburgh in 2006 with a new and improved routine. They were invited a third time in 2009 and again in 2012. Under the leadership of Erik Julliard, the band is also responsible for the founding of the Basel Tattoo, a military tattoo show similar to the Edinburgh Military Tattoo, now held annually in Basel.
